Why You Want It
Many workers in USA have employer supplied retirement plan such as 401K. Not having one is a serious disadvantage however alternative individual plans are available. Retirement plans offer potentially greater growth potential than the personal savings account. Standard bank saving account will only guarantee growth of 2.5% APY (in five-year CD) and are subject to income tax. Your capital in IRA account could grow at the higher rate but the growth is also tax free, when inside an IRA
